PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic of high stability with average emulsified particle size being equal to or smaller than 10&mum even if subjected to no mechanical shearing force, excellent in moisturizing effect, highly compatible with the skin and hair, freed of stickiness-related problem, and good in feeling in use.
SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic comprises a gel-like mixture comprising hydrogenated phospholipids containing 50 mass% or more of phosphatidylcholine and a water-miscible polyhydric alcohol and (B) a polyethylene glycol monostearate 80-120 in polyethylene glycols polymerization degree. This cosmetic has an average emulsified particle size of equal to or smaller than 10&mum.
