PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic, with controlled physical properties, characteristic in touch feeling when applied, giving bodied-feeling during being spread over the skin, and imparting unconventional feeling in use to the skin.SOLUTION: The water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic includes: (A) an oil agent liquid at 25°C (B) an oil agent solid at 25°C (C) hydrophobic powder of 8-30 &mum in average particle size (D) a surfactant 8 or less in HLB number and (E) water. In the cosmetic, the contents of the components (A), (B), (C) and (D) are 10-50 mass% 0.5-15 mass% 0.5-10 mass% and 0.2-10 mass%, respectively the mass ratio for the components (A) to (E) meets the following relationships (1), (2) and (3): (E):[(A)+(B)+(C)]=(10:90) to (70:30) (1) 0.25&le[(B)+(C)]/(A)&le0.7 (2) and (B)>(C) (3) the average emulsified particle size of the emulsified particles produced by emulsifying the aqueous phase component including the component (E) is 0.1-25 &mum the average particle size relationship between the average emulsified particle size, the average particle size of the component (B) and the average particle size of the component (C) is represented by the following: [the average particle size of the component (C)]>[the average particle size of the component (B)]> the average emulsified particle size.
