PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information detecting device which can reliably detect biological information by appropriately arranging a biological detecting sensor in association with a constitution of an elastic member for supporting a living body.SOLUTION: In a device which detects biological information by arranging a long, biological detecting sensor 2 in an elastic member 1 for supporting a living body and pressing the living body against the biological detecting sensor in such a manner to make contact, the elastic member is configured in such a manner that flexibility of a part for supporting an intermediate part 2a of the biological detecting sensor is greater than that of parts for supporting both end parts 2b, 2b. For example, for the elastic member, a sheet base material 1a used for the part for supporting the intermediate part is made of a material that is softer than a sheet base material 1b used for the part for supporting both end parts.
