PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a clip, which is connected to a tip of a sheath, to be arbitrarily rotated on an axis line of the sheath during a clipping operation, and prevent rotation of the clip during a clip release operation.SOLUTION: A connection hook 11 is attached via clutch means 3 to a distal end of a drive wire 13 inserted through a sheath 12. The clutch means is actuated to make the connection hook connected to the drive wire when the connection hook is pulled inward from the distal end of the sheath to bring about a leg-closed state, and to make the connection hook disconnected from the drive wire when the connection hook is pushed out from the distal end of the sheath to bring about a leg-opened state.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
