PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior material capable of removing VOC and odor components rapidly and for a long time without damaging designability, and a method for manufacturing the same.
SOLUTION: The interior material 11 is produced by bonding a formed urethane layer 12 supporting an adsorbent and a skin layer 13. Preferably, the adsorbent supported by the formed urethane layer 12 has a gradient with a lower concentration toward the skin layer 13. The method for manufacturing the interior material includes applying a water repellent coating agent on at least one surface of a formed urethane material, impregnating the formed urethane material with a liquid containing a dispersed adsorbent to fix the adsorbent, melting one surface of the formed urethane material coated with the water repellent coating agent, and bonding the formed urethane material and a skin material.
