The production method includes: preparing an original (10) having an inclined portion (10C) which is formed in an enclosed shape on an outer peripheral portion of a protruding pattern (10A) formed at a center portion on a base and gradually increases in thickness from inside toward outside, and a thermoplastic resin sheet (20)； and forming a recessed pattern (20A) on the thermoplastic resin sheet (20) by pressing the original (10) which is heated against the thermoplastic resin sheet (20) at a position where a flat surface of the original (10) and a surface of the thermoplastic resin sheet (20) are separated from each other, cooling the original (10) in the state where the original (10) is pressed, and separating the original (10) from the thermoplastic resin sheet (20).
