PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dosage form improving the stability of an N-acylamino acid derivative and exhibiting the effectiveness of the same.SOLUTION: This skin preparation for external use is provided by incorporating (1) octocrylene and (2) the N-acylamino acid derivative. As the N-acylamino acid derivative, it is preferable to be selected from an ester of the N-acylamino acid, an N-acyl(polyamino acid) and the polymer of an N-(meth)acryloylamino acid.
