The present invention relates to a method for preparing dermo-cosmetic compositions in the form of emulsions, which as emulsifier contain cationized cellulose fibres with a degree of cationic substitution greater than 0.15, the concentration of the microfibres being greater than 0.8% by dry weight in relation to the total weight of the composition.
