PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seeder allowing ensuring of a uniform nursery thickness, and carrying out of appropriate seeding when smoked chaff charcoal is used for nursery culture soil.SOLUTION: The seeder is provided with: a transporting path 3 for transporting each nursery cabinet 2 in one direction a nursery bed soil-filling device 6 installed for filling the nursery cabinet 2 with the nursery bed soil in order from the upstream side of the transporting path 3 along the transporting path 3 a seeding device 7 provided for seeding in the nursery cabinet 2 a soil covering device 8 installed for covering the seedling cabinet 2 with the soil cover and further a first watering device 29 provided in the transporting path 3 before the seeding device 7. The seeder is used to fill the interior of the seeding cabinet 2 with the smoked chaff charcoal as the nursery bed soil in the nursery bed soil-filling device 6, and the nursery soil thickness of the smoked chaff charcoal in the seedling cabinet 2 is then compacted and leveled by watering of the first watering device 29.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】籾殻くん炭を育苗培土に使用する場合に均一な床厚を確保して、播種が適正に行える播種機と該播種方法を提供する。【解決手段】育苗器2を一方向に搬送する搬送経路3を備え、該搬送経路3に沿って該搬送経路3の上手側から順に育苗器2に床土を詰める床土詰装置6と育苗器2に播種する播種装置7と育苗器2に覆土する覆土装置8を設け、さらに播種装置7の前の搬送経路3に第1灌水装置29を設けた播種機を用いて、床土詰装置6で床土として籾殻くん炭を育苗器2内に詰めた後、第1灌水装置29の灌水により育苗器2内の籾殻くん炭の床厚を鎮圧及び均平にする。【選択図】図1
