PURPOSE: A grass cultivation method is provided to facilitate cutting a turf sod from a field by using a garlic by-product, which is a natural plant material, and to allow a suitable soil condition for grass cultivation while reducing an amount of soil loss. CONSTITUTION: A grass cultivation method comprises the steps of: arranging grails stems immersed in alkaline water on a basis soil for lawn cultivation, followed by covering with bed soil and sowing grass seeds； and separating and drying the garlic stems immersed in alkaline water, followed by arranging them on the basic soil. The grass cultivation method further comprises providing alkaline water on the bed soil. The alkaline water is at least one of salt water, tourmaline water, and charcoal steep water. The garlic stems are arranged at an thickness of 5 to 15 cm. A concentration of the salt water is 3 to 6%. The tourmaline water is prepared by heating tourmaline at a temperature of 400 to 500>；= for 1 to 3 hours and then adding 8 to 12 times more water than a weight of the tourmaline. The charcoal steep water is prepared by mixing charcoal and 35 to 45 times more water of a weight of the charcoal and filtering the mixture.
