PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize bamboo by making compost out of bamboo.SOLUTION: After immersing a pulverized product, preferably powder, of bamboos into water, earthworms such as brandling earthworms are allowed to eat the powder in room temperature at about 15 to 30°C to obtain bamboo compost. Preferably, plants with much nitrogen content such as leguminous plants are mixed with the pulverized product of bamboos after being immersed into water, earthworms are allowed to eat the mixture to produce compost. Obtained bamboo compost is used as fertilizer or is directly used as culture soil. Further, the compost is not only used as culture soil, but its extract also can be used for controlling plant disease such as Pythium bacterium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】タケをコンポストにすることでタケの有効利用を図る。【解決手段】タケ類の粉砕物、好ましくは粉末を水に浸漬した後に、１５～３０℃程度の室温でシマミミズなどのミミズに摂食させてタケコンポストを得る。好ましくは、さらにマメ科植物のように窒素含量の多い植物を、水に浸漬した後のタケ類の粉砕物と混合して、ミミズに摂食させてコンポスト化する。得られたタケコンポストは肥料として用いられる他、そのまま培土として用いられる。また、培土そのものはもちろんのこと、その抽出物はピシウム菌のような植物病害の防除にも使用され得る。【選択図】図２
