PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper with which a user can easily confirm the position in a longitudinal direction of an auxiliary absorbent tool after the disposable diaper is worn.SOLUTION: In an pants type disposable diaper 1, a torso-surrounding elastic member 44 is provided on a torso-surrounding portion 47 between a torso opening elastic member and a front upper end and rear upper end of an absorbent body 20. A first torso-surrounding elastic element 441e of the torso-surrounding elastic member 44 has a color different from the color of an exterior sheet body, and can be visually confirmed from the outside of the exterior sheet 4. When an auxiliary absorbent tool 9 is attached to the inside of the disposable diaper 1, the auxiliary absorbent tool 9 can be visually confirmed via the torso-surrounding portion 47 of the disposable diaper 1, the first torso-surrounding elastic element 441e is a mark to be utilized to position an upper end portion 92 serving as an end in a longitudinal direction of the auxiliary absorbent tool 9. Thus, the user can easily confirm the position in the longitudinal direction of the upper end portion 92 serving as an end of the longitudinal direction of the auxiliary absorbent tool 9 after the disposable diaper 1 is worn.
