PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of simply increasing the water content in soybean without contamination of debris in the soybean.SOLUTION: A method of increasing the water content in soybean includes conducting a coexistence process for letting a hempen fabric and/or a rush fabric having the water content of 13 to 90 mass% and soybean once or two times.
