PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of granulating N-acetylglucosamine into granules with uniformity and high fluidity which has good texture and can be divided into the minute amount for packaging.SOLUTION: A granulation method of N-acetylglucosamine comprises the steps of: (a) mixing N-acetylglucosamine and 15 to 25 mass% of water (b) granulating the mixture into granules having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 1.2 mm by an extrusion granulation method and (c) drying the granules so as to make the water content to be 1 mass% or less. In the method, it is preferable that the obtained granules do not contain components other than N-acetylglucosamine having the water content of 1 mass% or less after the (c) step.【課題】N-アセチルグルコサミンを、食感が良く、微量の分包を可能とする均一な流動性の高い顆粒に造粒する方法を提供する。【解決手段】(a)N-アセチルグルコサミンと、15~25質量%の水と、を混合する工程と、(b)前記混合物を、押し出し造粒法により平均粒径0.5~1.2mmの顆粒に造粒する工程と、(c)前記顆粒を乾燥し、含水量を1質量%以下とする工程と、を含むことを特徴とするN-アセチルグルコサミンの造粒方法。 また、前記方法において、(c)工程後、得られた顆粒が、含水量が1質量%以下のN-アセチルグルコサミン以外の成分を含まないことが好適である。【選択図】 なし
