PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of maintaining absorption of an excretion liquid from a top sheet by an absorber and suppressing an overflow and wet-spreading of the excretion liquid on the top sheet.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes a top sheet 1, a back sheet 2 and an absorbent core 3 wherein a direction from a ventral part F to a dorsal part R via a crotch part C of a wearer is a vertical direction (Y direction), and a direction which is orthogonal to the vertical direction is a transverse direction (X direction). An absorbent core 3 includes a liquid holding part 31 containing pulp fiber and water absorptive polymer, and a liquid permeating part 32 which has liquid holding force weaker than that of the liquid holding part and is hydrophilic. The liquid permeating part 32 is arranged in a region C corresponding to an excretion part of the wearer in the absorbent core 3.
