PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can maintain a liquid absorptive property at high level even when a body fluid such as urine is repeatedly absorbed.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: a liquid permeable top sheet a liquid impermeable back sheet and an absorber which is arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet. The absorber contains an absorbent core and a core wrap sheet for covering at least a lower face of the absorbent core, the core wrap sheet contains 50 mass% or more of thermoplastic synthetic fibers and has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The first surface of the core wrap sheet has an area in contact with the lower face of the absorbent core. On at least a part of the area, plural ridge parts protruding toward the direction of the first surface from the second surface, and plural groove parts which become dent from the first surface to the direction of the second surface. The plural ridge parts and the plural groove parts extend in the first direction and alternately arranged in the second direction at a predetermined interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
