PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid such as urine from remaining in a groove part without spoiling merits of the groove part formed on the absorber of an absorbent article.SOLUTION: The invention is based on the finding that the groove part itself can be liquid absorptive by holding highly absorptive polymer 31a between core wrap sheets 32 and 33 at the groove part 34 of the absorber 3. Also, by the manufacturing method and the manufacturing device of the absorbent article, an appropriate amount of the highly absorptive polymer is easily held between the core wrap sheets at the groove part of the absorber.
