PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic apparatus capable of improving measurement efficiency by appropriately and quickly adjusting the height of a fixed portion and an eye to be inspected. An ophthalmic apparatus 1 supports a main body 10 having a measurement head 12 for acquiring information on an eye E of a subject P, and supports the face of the subject P and is movable with respect to the main body 10. The face support portion 20 provided and the optical table 30 on which the main body portion 10 is placed are provided. The optical table 30 is moved in a predetermined moving state so that the eye E to be inspected is positioned within the measurement allowable range of the measurement head 12. The moving state of the face support portion 20 is determined according to the moving state of the optical table 30, and the face support portion 20 is moved based on the moving state.
