PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic apparatus capable of smoothly projecting and receiving light by approaching or contacting the apparatus to an eye to be examined.SOLUTION: An ophthalmologic apparatus comprises: an optical unit 10 comprising an optical system which performs at least one of light projection and light reception to/from an eye to be examined E through a tip end part 11 in a state in which the tip end part 11 faces the eye to be examined E and an alignment mechanism for supporting the optical unit 10, and adjusting a positional relationship between the eye to be examined E and the optical unit 10 by moving the optical unit 10. The ophthalmologic apparatus further comprises a retraction mechanism 20. The retraction mechanism 20 moves a movable part which is at least a part of the optical unit 10 in a retraction direction with respect to the alignment drive mechanism, according to a load, when a load in a retraction direction which is a direction away from the eye to be examined E is applied to the tip end part 11.
