Exercise auxiliary equipment comprising a base having a surface for putting the users feet on, a seat having a contact surface for supporting the users hip under a state where the user is putting the sole on the surface for putting the users feet on, a seat height adjuster for moving the seat up and down and front and back so as to move the sheat to an exercise reference position and setting an appropriate bending angle of users knee, and a seat driver for swinging the seat about the exercise reference position to vary the own weight acting on the leg of the user, characterized in that the equipment is further provided with a load adjusting means for varying the load applied to the users knee joint depending on the distance between the contact surface of the seat and the surface for putting the users feet on.
