PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct-cultivation method of rice capable of suppressing damage caused by shellfish without using any chemicals or any capture tools which destroy shellfish while suppressing growth of weeds in the case of cultivating rice by direct seeding.SOLUTION: The direct-cultivation method of rice comprises: a first step of sowing seed rice 6 in a paddy field in a water drop state by dropping water after puddling for averaging the surfaces of the paddy field a second step of watering the paddy field after the first step to keep the watered state for a predetermined time period a third step of dropping the water after the second step so that the water-dropped state is kept for a predetermined time period thereby to germinate and grow the seed rice 6 and a fourth step of watering the paddy field after the third step.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】直播により稲の栽培を行う場合において、雑草の発生を抑えながら貝類を駆除する薬剤や捕獲具を使用せずに貝類の食害の発生を抑えることができる稲の直播栽培方法を得る。【解決手段】水田の田面を均平化する代掻きの後に水田を落水して、落水状態の水田に種籾6を播く第1工程と、第1工程の次に水田にかん水し、かん水状態を所定期間だけ維持する第2工程と、第2工程の次に水田を落水し、落水状態を所定期間だけ維持して、種籾6の発芽及び成長を行わせる第3工程と、第3工程の次に水田にかん水する第4工程とを備えている。【選択図】図6
