A method for preparing a medium for cultivating button mushroom using pretreated rice straw of the present invention comprises: a pretreatment step for preparing rice straw for sedimentation which has been immersed in fowl dropping water containing fermentation fowl dropping a composting step for producing the composted rice straw by feeding oxygen and the fowl dropping water to the rice straw for sedimentation and a medium preparation step for preparing a rice straw medium for cultivating button mushroom by fermenting ingredients comprising the composted rice straw at outdoors.
