The invention concerns an electronicdis-play system, intended to be coupled with ultrasoundimaging equipment capable of capturing an image of amedium, said system comprising a first monitor to displayan ultrasound image such as captured by the ultrasoundimaging equipment and image processing means.Accord-ing to the invention, the system further comprises asec-ond touch-screen monitor, means to duplicate theultra-sound image, means to send this duplicate to the secondmonitor on which at least part therefore is displayed,means to display at least one graphical element which, bymeans of the tactility of the screen, is used to perform atleast one processing operation on the ultrasound image,means for instant application of all processing operationsperformed using the second monitor to the duplicateultrasound image displayed on the second monitor, andmeans for instant or deferred application to the ultrasoundimage displayed on the first monitor of all or part of theprocessing operations performed on the duplicateultra-sound image by means of the second monitor.
