The present invention refers to a method for promoting a surface with superior tribological properties in surgical metallic implants, obtained by the process of fusion and precision vacuum the invention may refine the size of the grain by means of a method that uses the dynamic recrystallization of the alloy upon being mechanically worked. The present method improves the wear resistance without affecting the ductility of the pieces, since only the surface would be affected, reducing then the amount of wear particles and the generation of metallic ions, in total hip prosthesis with metal-metal contact. This method may be used in the manufacture of all types of joint prosthesis subjected to wear by sliding contact.La presente invención es un método que promueve una superficie con propiedades tribológicas superiores en implantes quirúrgicos metálicos, obtenidos por el proceso de fusión y vaciado de precisión genera refinamiento en tamaño de grano, mediante una metodología que utiliza la recristalización dinámica de la aleación al ser trabajada mecánicamente. Este método mejora la resistencia al desgaste sin afectar la ductilidad de las piezas, ya que solamente afecta la superficie, disminuyendo así la cantidad de partículas de desgaste y a su vez la generación de iones metálicos, en prótesis total de cadera en contacto metal-metal. Esta metodología se puede emplear en la fabricación de todo tipo de prótesis articulares, sujetas a desgaste por contacto deslizante.
