PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet containing irbesartan at a high dose, having a high elution speed of irbesartan from the tablet at early stage of production and having no reduction in the elution speed even after the tablet has been preserved under high humidity environment.SOLUTION: There is provided a tablet containing, relative to total weight of the tablet, 40 to 60 wt% of irbesartan, 30 to 50 wt% of dilution agent, 1 to 10 wt% of disintegration agent, 1 to 5 wt% of binding agent and 0.2 to 5 wt% of lubricant, but not anti adhesive agent. The tablet is obtained as follows: the binding agent to powder mixture of the irbesartan, the dilution agent and a part of disintegration agent are added to the binding agent, granules are produced by wet high-speed stirring granulation, and the remaining disintegration agent and lubricant are added to the granules and compressed.
