There is disclosed a natural sweetener composition comprising erythritol (in a concentration between 25% and 60%) and a secondary natural sweetener (sucrose, fructose or glucose or a mixture thereof) in a concentration between 40% and 75%, to obtain an alternative natural sweetener to sucrose, characterised by similar rheological properties (dosage, appearance and use mode) and organoleptic properties (flavour and sweetening power), associated to a reduction of calories (of about 30%-50%) and glycaemic impact (about 30%-80%) .
