This cartridge for a flavor inhaler comprises: a housing having a reservoir space for accommodating a liquid and an atomizing space for atomizing the liquid； a lid member capable of moving in such a manner to separate the reservoir space and the atomizing space in an openable/closable manner； an aerosol flow path for delivering an aerosol generated by atomizing the liquid from the atomizing space to the exterior of the housing； a rotation member capable of circumferentially rotating about an axis parallel to the direction of movement of the lid member； and a motion conversion mechanism for converting a circumferential rotation motion of the rotation member to an axial linear motion of the lid member. The lid member is directly or indirectly secured to the motion conversion mechanism.
