A composition comprising at least one triglyceride, at least one phospholipid and at least one long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid (LC-PUFA)； wherein said at least one triglyceride is a compound of formula I: wherein R, R and R may be the same or different and each independently selected from H or an acyl group, wherein the acyl group is selected from residues of a saturated fatty acid, monounsaturated fatty acid and long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid (LC-PUFA)； wherein said at least one phospholipid is a compound of formula II: wherein each of R and R is a substituent independently of the meaning of R, R, R, and where R is selected from choline, inositol, ethanolamine and serine； where at least about 1% LC-PUFA is conjugated in the composition to said at least one phospholipid and wherein the total amount of phospholipids is at least 15% .2. The composition according to claim 1, wherein at least about 20% of the LC-PUFA contained in the composition is conjugated to said at least one phospholipid. The composition of claim 2, wherein at least about 50% of the LC-PUFA contained in the composition is conjugated to said at least one phospholipid. The composition of claim 1, wherein said LC-PUFA is one or both of omega-3 or omega-6 fatty acids. The composition of claim 1, wherein said LC-PUFA contains docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). The composition of claim 1, wherein R is the remainder of LC-PUFA. The composition of claim 6, wherein said LC-PUFA residue is an omega-3 or omega-6 fatty acid residue.
