Disclosed are a rice cake sandwich and a method for manufacturing the same wherein a stable external appearance of the rice cake sandwich is provided by attaching one rice cake to another rice cake with an edible adhesive. Provided is the rice cake sandwich comprising: a first rice cake which has first adhesive accommodation grooves formed at intervals on a lower side a second rice cake which comes in contact with a lower side of the first rice cake and has second adhesive accommodation grooves formed at intervals on an upper side and the edible adhesive arranged in the first and second adhesive accommodation grooves to enable the second rice cake to be attached to the first rice cake. The method for manufacturing a rice cake sandwich comprises the following steps: injecting the edible adhesive in a liquid phase into a roller forming the first adhesive accommodation grooves, filled with the edible adhesive, on the lower side of the first rice cake by using the roller forming the second adhesive accommodation grooves, filled with the edible adhesive, on the upper side of the second rice cake by using the roller generating the rice cake sandwich by making the first and second rice cakes come in contact with each other and cooling the rice cake sandwich to change the edible adhesive into a solid phase. According to the present invention, each stacked rice cake is not separated from a main body even when an additional post-processing such as steaming or heating with a microwave oven is performed when the rice cake sandwich is eaten.
