<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating vegetable by which air-permeability, water-permeability, water-retaining properties or the like is maintained and improved, or characteristics such as development in a solid grain structure are improved, and heavy metals such as cadmium in soil are made insoluble so as to cultivate safe agricultural crops in soil, in particular, farmland soil in high yield. <；P>；SOLUTION: The method for cultivating vegetable comprises growing vegetables in soil obtained by admixing organic vegetable soil-conditioning material having physical characteristics-improving function such as air-permeability, water-permeability, water-retaining properties and fertile-retaining function and heavy meatal-insolubilizing function.
