<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device prevented from being stopped during transfer operation. <；P>；SOLUTION: The transfer device 10 for transferring a care taker includes a support part 12, a support 13 attached to the support part 12 at one end thereof in a tiltable manner, a body holder 30, which holds the care taker, attached to the other end of the support 13, a drive means for tilting the support, a torque measuring means for measuring the torque acting on the drive means and a control means for controlling the drive means.
