A method and system for determining wearing and removal of an animal wearable device. The method comprises: determining a wearing or removal state of a wearable device according to a slight movement signal, acquired by the animal wearable device, of an animal. The system comprises an acquisition unit (1) and a determination unit (2). The method is simple, and the determination thereof is accurate. In addition, the sensor for detecting a slight movement signal is a piezoelectric thin film sensor, having a small volume and not consuming electricity.Linvention porte sur un système permettant de déterminer le port et le retrait dun dispositif pouvant être porté par un animal. De plus, le capteur pour détecter le mouvement est un capteur à film mince piézoélectrique, de petit volume, ne consommant pas délectricité.
