PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-reverse mechanism of a fishing reel in which a rotational performance is improved and abrasion is reduced.SOLUTION: An anti-reverse mechanism of a fishing reel concerning the present invention includes: an anti-reverse gear 12 rotating along with a rotating body 10 rotated in the feeding of the fishing line an anti-reverse claw 20 provided in a reel body 2 and engaged with the anti-reverse gear 12 and a cam 30 for controlling the engagement and disengagement of the anti-reverse claw 20 to the anti-reverse gear 12 and frictionally fitted to the rotating body 20 according to the rotation direction of the rotating body 10.
