PURPOSE: A composition containing Eriobotrya japonica Lindl. extract or a fraction thereof for antiviral, antibacterial, or antifungal is provided to be used in functional foods without side effect. CONSTITUTION: An antiviral composition contains Eriobotrya japonica Lindl. extract or a fraction thereof. An antioxidative composition contains the extract or fraction. An antibacterial composition contains the extract or fraction. The extract is ethanol extract prepared by: adding 800-1200 weight parts of 70-90% ethanol to 80-120 weight parts of dried Eriobotrya japonica Lindl. leaves; a step of decomposing the Eriobotrya japonica Lindl. leaves by ultrasonic wave for 10-30 minutes; a step of shaking Eriobotrya japonica Lindl. leaves at 100-200 rpm and 20-30°;C for 10-14 hours; and a step of filtering and concentrating the extract at 30-50°;C.본 발명은 비파 추출물 또는 이의 분획물을 포함하는 항바이러스용, 항균용 또는 항균용 조성물 및 상기 조성물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 항바이러스, 항산화 또는 항균 활성 증가용 식품에 관한 것이다.
