Provided is a system which effectively disposes a stent in a pipe. The system includes a delivery catheter and a core wire extended through the catheter. The core wire includes an engaging surface section and a capture member disposed at the top thereof, wherein the engaging surface section and capture member interact with each other in order to engage with the stent, so that the stent can be forwardly or backwardly moved by the forward or backward movement of the core wire. The engaging surface section and capture member are generally engaged with the stent when a part of the stent is disposed in a lumen of the catheter.
