A method for producing a sugar-containing liquid comprising a step of mixing a raw material liquid and hop-extracted water, a sugar-containing liquid obtained by the production method, and a beer-taste beverage using the sugar-containing liquid. The production method of the present invention prepares a saccharified solution having a high polyphenol concentration with excellent productivity, and can provide a beer-taste beverage with a rich taste.
