The disclosure further relates to a liquid composition for electronic cigarettes, the composition containing a polyol that has 4 to 8 carbon atoms and 2 hydroxyl functions, as well as at least one compound selected from among nicotine, a nicotine substitute and an aroma. The disclosure also relates to an electronic cigarette containing the composition.
