The present invention relates to a pet defecation pad capable of suppressing odor and bacteria, and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, a hydroxyl radical generator, a catalyst contained in a carrier, and a coated neutralizing agent are introduced into a pet defecation pad. The pet defecation pad is not normally reacted but radicals are generated by absorbing excrement of a pet to a pad, thereby instantly performing sterilization and suppressing odor. The catalyst required for a radical reaction is supported on the carrier, thereby efficiently generating radicals, and evenly distributing the catalyst. In addition, hydroxyl radicals and excrement components are neutralized by having the coated neutralizing agent, thereby suppressing odor for a long time and increasing user safety and product stability. Furthermore, bacteria and odor are suppressed for a short/long time, and components derived from excrement are neutralized, thereby maximizing user convenience and the quality of the defecation pad compared to that of an existing defecation pad in an indoor use and a use of a several-day unit.본 발명은 냄새와 세균억제가 가능한 애완동물용 배변패드 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 애완동물 배변패드에 수산화라디칼 발생제와 담체에 담긴 촉매, 코팅된 중화제를 넣어주었다. 이렇게 만들어진 배변패드는 평상시에는 반응이 일어나지 않으나, 애완동물의 대소변이 패드에 흡수되면서 라디칼이 발생함으로 즉각적인 살균과 냄새억제가 가능하다. 이러한 라디칼반응에 필요한 촉매를 담체에 담지시켜 줌으로써 효율적으로 라디칼 생성이 가능하며 고른 촉매의 분포를 가능하게 하였다. 더불어 코팅된 중화제가 존재함으로 수산화 라디칼과 대소변성분을 중화시켜 장기적인 냄새억제가 가능하고 사용자의 안전성과 제품의 안정성을 증가시켰다. 장단기적으로 세균과 냄새를 억제하고 대소변에서 비롯된 성분을 중화시킴으로써 실내에서의 이용과 수일 단위로의 이용에서 기존의 배변패드에 비해 사용자의 편의성과 배변패드의 품질을 극대화 하였다.
