PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ruminant feed high in nutritive value and feed efficiency, which does not cause rumen acidosis by using inexpensive lumber as raw material.SOLUTION: Ruminant feed high in digestive efficiency and having a smaller amount of harmful furfural is given in which a steam treatment of a lumber is performed at the temperature of 170-190°C and the pressure of 0.8-1.3 MPa for 5-20 minutes and then an explosive-shattering treatment is performed by instantly releasing pressure to obtain a blasted product in which lignin and hemicellulose in the lumber are partially degraded and/or denatured.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】 安価な木材を原料とすることによって、ルーメンアシドーシスを起こさず、栄養価、飼料効率の高い反芻動物用飼料を提供する。【解決手段】 木材を温度170~190℃、圧力0.8~1.3MPaで、5~20分間、水蒸気処理した後、瞬時に圧解放して爆砕処理することにより得られる爆砕処理物は、木材中のリグニンやヘミセルロースが部分的に分解及び/または変性しているので、消化率が高く、有害となるフルフラール量が少ない反芻動物用飼料となる。【選択図】 なし
