PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel economy while keeping necessary engine output in a combine harvester operatively driving a travelling unit and a threshing unit with a rotation power from an engine.SOLUTION: A controller can selectively start, according to crop species selected with a processed crop selection member, an engine rated operation mode where the engine is operated so that the engine output becomes the rated rotation speed and an engine low speed operation mode where the engine is operated so that the engine output becomes lower than the rated rotation speed. A change adjusting actuator is operated so that when starting the engine rated operation mode, a change adjusting device is put in a standard transmission state, and when starting the engine low speed operation mode, a change adjusting device is put in a high speed transmission state higher than the standard transmission state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】エンジンからの回転動力によって走行部及び脱穀部が作動的に駆動されるコンバインにおいて、必要なエンジン出力を確保しつつ、燃費の向上を図る。【解決手段】制御装置は、処理作物選択部材によって選択される作物種に応じて、エンジン出力が定格回転速度となるようにエンジンを作動させるエンジン定格作動モードとエンジン出力が定格回転速度より低速となるようにエンジンを作動させるエンジン低速作動モードとを選択的に起動可能とされ、エンジン定格作動モードの起動時には調整変速装置を基準変速状態とし且つエンジン低速作動モードの起動時には調整変速装置を基準変速状態より高速の高速変速状態とするように調整変速アクチュエータを作動させる。【選択図】図３
