595278 Disclosed herein is a crystalline polymorph of 1-[4-[4-[5-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-4,5-dihydro-3-isoxazolyl]-2-thiazolyl]-1-piperidinyl]-2-[5-methyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]ethanone designated Form B characterized by a powder Cu(K1)-5 X-ray diffraction pattern as defined in the specification, and the use thereof as a fungicidal composition. Further disclosed is method for preparing a desired crystalline polymorph of compound I in the presence of an alkanol solvent； neutralizing the reaction mixture with base； and adding water and seed crystals of the desired crystalline polymorph to the reaction mixture.
