PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper including a three-dimensional gathers and a leg gathers having high air permeability, flexibility and leakage preventing performance.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional gathers TG and a leg gathers LG of a diaper 1A are formed by a side sheet 24 disposed and fixed through a fixing part 27. The side sheet 24 is formed by one sheet member, the inner end part 24I thereof is turned back to the outside surface side up to the position of the fixed part 27, and an elastic member 25 is disposed and fixed to the apex vicinity 24T1. In the side sheet 24, the outer end part 24O is turned back to the outside surface side up to the position of the fixed part 27, and an elastic member 26 is disposed and fixed at a space S from the apex 24T2. A three-dimensional gathers side non-joint area 28T is formed on the inner side in the X-direction of the side sheet 24, and a leg gathers side non-joint area 28L is formed in the space S on the outer side in the X-direction.
