PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of suppressing crinkles of the absorbent article occurring when a wearer wears the absorbent article for a long time.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes a liquid-permeable front face sheet 2 having the long direction and the width direction, and provided on the skin side a liquid-impermeable rear face sheet 3 provided on the clothes side a liquid-holding absorber layer 4 provided between the front face sheet 2 and the rear face sheet 3 and a hydrophobic rigid sheet 5 provided between the absorber layer 4 and the rear face sheet 3. The bending resistance of the rigid sheet 5 in a dry state is higher than the bending resistance of the absorber layer 4 in the dry state.
