PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an absorbent article to be stably and easily maintained in a bent shape so as to protrude to the skin side along a bending guiding line.SOLUTION: The absorbent article has a longer direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction orthogonal to one another. The absorbent article has an absorber having liquid absorptive fibers. The absorber has a bending guiding line in the longer direction for guiding the absorber to protrude and bend towards the skin side in the thickness direction. The absorber has a part including the bending guiding line and parts not including the bending guiding line which are positioned at both the sides of the bending guiding line in the width direction. When a bending resistance is measured according to Gurley method specified in JIS L1085, the bending resistance of the parts not including the bending guiding line is not less than 1.64 mN, and the bending resistance of the part including the bending guiding line is not less than 1.36 mN while a pendulum of a test machine of the Gurley method is caused to hit the part from the non-skin side in the thickness direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】吸収性物品の形状を、折り誘導線に沿って肌側に突出するような折れ曲がり形状に安定して維持し易くすることにある。【解決手段】互いに直交する長手方向と幅方向と厚さ方向とを有した吸収性物品である。 液体吸収性繊維を有する吸収体を有する。前記吸収体は、前記厚さ方向の肌側に突出して折れ曲がるように誘導する折り誘導線を前記長手方向に沿って有する。前記吸収体は、前記折り誘導線を含む部分と、前記折り誘導線の前記幅方向の両側に位置して前記折り誘導線を含まない部分と、を有する。JIS L1085に規定されたガーレ法で剛軟度を測定した場合に、前記折り誘導線を含まない部分の剛軟度が1.64mN以上であり、前記折り誘導線を含む部分に対してガーレ法の試験機の振り子を前記厚さ方向の非肌側から当てた場合の剛軟度が1.36mN以上である。【選択図】図2
