PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the germination of plant seeds, which is different from conventional known methods for germinating plant seeds to expand choices related to usable methods and enhance production efficiency.SOLUTION: This method for improving the germination of plant seeds is characterized by having a treatment time of <24 hours in the following low temperature contact process and having the low temperature contact process for bringing the plant seeds into contact with a plant growth regulator and water at a temperature of <10°C.
