PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and similarly apply a predetermined quantity of heat to all foods by preventing an extreme change of heating conditions by automatically adjusting a steam quantity without depending on skilled operators when continuously heating a plurality of foods by a steaming apparatus while conveying the foods.SOLUTION: Steam at a predetermined temperature is supplied from a discharge pipe 23 as a discharge part in a steam supply means to continuously heat foods by the steam, while the foods are conveyed inside the conveying-type steaming apparatus 1. A temperature of heated atmosphere inside the steaming apparatus 1 is measured by temperature sensors S1-S7. A flow rate of supply steam supplied from the discharge pipe 23 of the steam supply means is continuously measured by steam flow meters M1-M3. The opening degrees of control valves 24A, 24B, and 24C are adjusted in response to measured values of the temperature and the flow rate of the steam so as to automatically adjust the flow rate of the supplied steam and to control the temperature of the heated atmosphere.
