PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup-shaped absorbent article which absorbs excrements of users by arraying it on the skin surface side of other wearing products.
SOLUTION: A urine pad 1a is provided with a sheet member 2 for receiving the excrements and a plurality of elastic members 3 which are arrayed being scattered in the sheet member 2 to get the surface of the sheet member 2 shrunk in different two directions. The shrinking rate with the plurality of elastic members 3 is made larger in the periphery area than in the central area of the sheet member 2 to facilitate the formation of the sheet member 2 in the shape of a cup. The scattered arrangement of the plurality of elastic members 3 over the entire surface of the sheet member 2 enables the smooth formation of the sheet member 2 in the shape of a cup while stabilizing the shape.
