PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition having excellent stability to heat and light.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition containing: (A) at least one selected from the group consisting of Montelukast, Pranlukast, salt thereof or hydrate thereof (B) at least one solubilizing auxiliary agent selected from the group consisting of nonionic surfactant and polyhydric alcohol and (C) a hydrophobic base agent is prepared. Further, there is provided a method for stabilizing (A) at least one selected from the group consisting of Montelukast, Pranlukast, salt thereof or hydrate thereof by allowing (A) at least one selected from the group consisting of Montelukast, Pranlukast, salt thereof or hydrate thereof, (B) at least one solubilizing auxiliary agent selected from the group consisting of nonionic surfactant and polyhydric alcohol, and (C) a hydrophobic base agent to coexist.
