The present invention relates to a liquid formulation comprising an electrolyte compound, and montelukast or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient, and a method for preparing the above liquid formulation. According to the present invention, montelukast or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is substantially dissolved and present in a solution state, thereby improving stability over time, preventing decrease of dissolution and stability over time and increasing its bioavailability.
