PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone filler being sufficiently hardened, wherein a hardened material has a sufficient strength, and having a superior adhesion to bone cells.
SOLUTION: The bone filler is formed by kneading phosphate-based mixture containing calcium monohydrogen phosphate (DCPD), tetracalciurn phosphate (TTCP) and abrasively pulverized &beta-tricalcium phosphate (&beta-TCP), with kneading solution containing water, wherein the &beta-TCP is abrasively pulverized under atmosphere containing at least one selected from water and carbon dioxide, and this bone filler contains 1.1-3 mol of the TTCP and 1.1-5 mol of the &beta-TCP with respect to 1 mol of the DCPD.
